I installed the 1.0.3 beta on my WHS and do not have the new Icon. I see it in my add-ins and it is resident in my settings to configure to folder location. But no Icon for it in the console.

I installed the WHS add-in and it appeared to install as designed. There’s a WHS tab displaying an (empty) call history, and under Settings there’s a way to configure the location of the call history database. I also installed Vista Caller ID on another PC on my LAN, and when I click on Configure Home Server, it finds the WHS box.

But the WHS box doesn’t appear to be getting any CallerID data. I’d been running Ascendis CallerID, so I’m sure that the modem works. What’s more, the WHS add-in didn’t have any list of devices. So, I thought that maybe the WHS box needs to have the Vista CallerID software running on it as well as the WHS add-in, so I installed that. That installation was fine as well, and that machine does detect calls. However, the call history in the WHS add-in is blank, and the call doesn’t appear to be broadcast over the LAN to the other PC. What’s more, if I click on WHS Configuration through the app running on the WHS machine, I’m told that it can’t find the server, until I change the directory from \\{self}\Public\CallerID to \\server\Public\CallerID — then it switches to Server Found! — but there’s no way to save those settings.

Please advise if you get a chance. Anybody successfully running this?
